Well, happy new year everyone! Here's some insight into what's being delivered to our farmers market stands this weekend. Saturday at Arlington Courthouse and Sunday at Dupont Circle.
What's FRESH this week?
RABBITS!! - 15-20 of them!Beef - lots of steaks, roasts and plenty of fresh ground beef. We'll also have some fresh briskets and tenderloins for filet mignon. But in this cold weather...the idea of turning on the oven for a good slow roast would be quite comforting!
As for fresh pork - we have a whole assortment of pork chops and our very popular pork tenderloins. Come early to get the pork tenderloins as we only have about 20 this weekend.
When it comes to frozen this week, we'll have plenty of sausage, as usual. As well as whole chickens and parts, including chicken breasts. And while we may have fresh ground beef, we also have frozen.
Of course the way the weekend is looking, come early before all of our fresh meat freezes simply from being outside at the market!!! We're looking forward to seeing you.
